A prompting playbook for designers
The eight patterns that consistently produce strong Graphicly output — from anchoring composition to controlling typography and mood.

Great AI design output looks a lot like great briefs. Here is how we frame ours.
1. Anchor the format first
Start with the deliverable: 'Instagram post, 1080×1350'. This locks composition before Graphicly starts choosing typography.
2. Name the mood
'Editorial', 'brutalist', 'playful pastel'. One or two adjectives compound better than a paragraph.
3. Iterate in small deltas
'Bolder headline. Move the CTA up. Swap the accent to violet.' Small edits beat starting from scratch.
